Big Rock Ending Media began in 2002 when a small group of scrappy, freelancing college students decided to join forces in an effort to play off each others’ strengths while continuing to grow individually. This form of cooperative teamwork also allowed the flexibility for each to pursue outside interests – the majority of which were music-based. “By day we were coders, designers, analysts & consultants for various clients and within major corporations. By night we were touring musicians, promoters, managing venues, & starting small business ventures,” says founder Benjamin Enders.
After years of these segregated lifestyles, the group finally decided to put the collective knowledge to another level by applying all the know-how gained from design & marketing to music & new businesses, and vice versa. “The insight gained from our ‘night lives’ has always given us a unique edge in our projects. We felt it was time to make it official and start focusing more in the areas we know & love,” says co-founder Evan Jacobs.
In 2010 the Big Rock Ending name was rebranded & relaunched with these areas as the primary focus.
